The TTP developed and refined by FFMP and MAP is an online training module designed to introduce all members of the MoH and UNRWA multidisciplinary Primary Health Care teams (non-specialist doctors, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory technicians and administrative staff) to the principles and practice of family health care. It is structure for staff to work through individually and then come together and discuss their learnings. It is gradually being rolled out throughout the region with hugely positive feedback from participants.
On-line tutorials, in-person week long workshops, and visiting faculty have helped to supplement medical education about family medicine (FM), FM residency curricula, and development of FM faculty and other faculties at Health Science Universities in Palestine.
Residency Programme Support
Professors and GP trainers from the UK and US residency programs and Family Medicine departments have partnered with FM faculty residents to supplement curriculum and develop clinical skills in FM residency specialty trainin.
Professors from UK and US medical schools have partnered with medical students, FM residents and faculties to plan and implement studies; draft, edit and publish manuscripts to further enhance the scientific research capacity of health science departments in Palestine.
